Flashback Video! – New York City Kirtan

Here’s a few scenes for KD’s annual NYC kirtan at The Church Of St. Paul and St Andrew. We like to thing of it as an urban retreat. The kirtan is followed by a workshop the following day.

The next events are November 5, 2016- Kirtan and November 6, 2016 – workshop. Join us please!

Every year, we dedicate some of the proceeds from our November New York kirtan to a charitable cause.
This year we will be making contributions to two wonderful organizations, doing important work in aid of our world’s children growing up in the face of war. Here is some information for you.

War Child’s Mission:

War Child works toward a world in which no child’s life is torn apart by war. Armed conflict is a  reality for millions of children today. War Child is committed to supporting these children to overcome their experiences, and have a real chance at a better future.

Children and young people have the right to grow up free from fear and violence, to develop to their full potential and contribute to a peaceful future – for themselves and for their communities.

Healing Buddha Foundation’s Mission:

In particular we help the impoverished Tibetan refugee mothers and their children to be healthy and economically self sustaining.We empower Tibetan refugee mothers and their children who have become impoverished due to lack of education, homelessness, spousal abuse, and unassisted pregnancies, to become healthy, educated and economically self sustaining community members.
